The cube of exposed concrete appears to be released from the force of gravity and floats over the lawn. It forms a protecting roof for the open living rooms. Without supports, the body lies only on a stretched S that, in the centre of the house, accommodates the two interlocked stairs. The two houses themselves are also, concealed from the viewer, nested in one another and allow the inhabitants to profit equally from the view and the sunlight, by changing sides from floor to floor. The entrance and auxiliary rooms are positioned under the main level, which is inserted into the hill. The visitor to the house enters into the completely dark painted entrance area with black linoleum floor, which reminds one of the inside of a mountain and is released through the narrow stairwell opening into the light-flooded apartments. Here the light is intensified by the shining white walls while the flow of rooms is guided by the parquet flooring out into the exterior area in the garden.
